Leslie Appears on Guiding Light
After receiving an Emmy Nomination for her song "On My Own" (L Mills/B Siewert) in May of 2002 which aired on the daytime drama Guiding LIght, Leslie Mills was invited back to Guiding Light to appear on the show in the fall of 2002. She performed live in "Club Inferno" singing her song "Be My Water" (L Mills/C Pelcer/S Nelson) along with the Tony and Marah theme "I Believe In The Mystery" which she sang to Tony.

Leslie says, "It was a blast to be on the show, and I really appreciate that I had the opportunity. It was interesting to me to see the process of what goes on in a typical day there on a daytime drama. It feels a bit like live theater without much preparation time because they don't have the luxury of doing many takes and they have to film so many episodes continuously. I have a lot of respect for the cast and crew. Thankfully they let me sing live, so it was especially fun. I loved every minute of it."

Billboard 2001 Peter Cetera "Just Like Love" Review
Leslie Mills co-wrote with Chris Pelcer the single "Just Like Love" for Peter Cetera in 2001.
From Billboard:

"For more than 30 years, Peter Cetera has dished out friendly, comfortable radio singles that resonate with a range of ages at AC radio. He still has a distinctive style that comes across like meeting up with a pal from days of old, where the connection remains strong. Cetera didn't write "Just Like Love," but boy, does it feel tailor-made, from its easy-flowing verses to the natural cohesive chorus and heartwarming bridge. Here's an artist who just doesn't dissappoint longtime fans. Programmers should recognize this as one of his stronger cuts in some time. It's ripe for the picking."
